It's the Day Before My Birthday!

Hey y'all! This is the last entry on this blog I will write as a 13-year-old! Holy cow!!!! :P I am so so glad that all of you have kept up with this blog (even though I haven't been on all to frequently) and I hope you stick with me this coming year, too!! :)

Carpe diem

Summer has almost ended... :'(

* sigh *

Summer was way too short this year! :(

I did cram a lot of stuff into it, though - swimming, hanging out with my friends, going to Florida, swim camp in Tennessee, LOTS of movies, and LOTS of naptime :P

I'm headed out on one more vacation before summer ends - let's finish the summer with style in Portland, Oregon!! :) woo-hoo!

I'll write again after school starts...

Ohmigod - yes! It's finally summer!

Here's to the pool parties, the early-morning swim team practice, the shaved ice, the new nail polish techniques, the movie dates, the summer sun, the ice cream outings, the fun time, the down time, the lazy time, the naptime!! :)

The End of 7th Grade!

AHHHHH! OK - just FYI, I am totally not ready to be an 8th grader! I'm so sad! That means only one year left with TCS! :(

But I have to admit, it is pretty exciting :P I mean, I looked up to the 8th graders only a few years ago, like "Whoa you are so old and tall and pretty and cool" and now I'm gonna be one! :D CrAzY! :)

Off to Chicago!

Whoa! It's been a while, has it not? :P Sorry, I've been a little busy!

You won't be hearing much from me over the next week, either - 'cause I'll be in Chicago with the rest of 7th Grade!!!! Woo-hoo!! :)

We're taking a train down there, which requires that we be at school at 5:45 am... Oh my!!! :P Too early, thank you very much!!

Getting Ready for the Big Meet

Hey all!! Just wanted to update on the swimming stuff goin' on over here:

The Division I Champs are on Saturday - and I will be swimming the 50 Freestyle

Hopefully, I'll break 30 seconds, so far that's been my speed for the past 2 times I've swum the event... my goal is to get under 30 at this meet!!

Just letting you all know about the swimming stuff going on in my life right now!! :)

Happy Snowpocalypse!!

Haha - winter is stupid sometimes... We just totally had a two-in-a-row snow day palooza!!! (Well, palooza minus the million people who attend those things, it was just me and my sisters :) Anyway, I got the opportunity to do a lot of math homework (thanks, K3) and the LA load wasn't too light either - honestly, to all you teachers out there (who have probably stopped reading by now anyway, but still, just in case you hung in there):

When kids get snow days, we don't plan on spending them doing EXTRA HOMEWORK 


Just so you know. I figured if no one else had told you, it might as well be me... :P

ANYWAYZ - those snow days were awesome!! LOL - I love getting days off school, I mean, I like school and all, 'cause all my friends are there, but sometimes a break is welcomed with open arms... :)

Hope you all had your own fabulous snow days... or if you're like my dad and the rest of that side of the fam, have a great vacation!! :)

ChamiNERD Mixer

Just went to my first Chaminade mixer last night... CRAZY!! :) Haha - mucho fun, though - they played my new favorite song to dance to "Jump on It" & my BFFs and I had a whole dance!! (thank you, Snow Ball DJ!!) :P lol - anyways, it was super fun! I saw everyone - from kids at school to kids from my past swim teams :O (not that they remembered me of course) Thanks for inviting me, Morgan, Katherine, Sammy, and Colleen!!!

The End of a Great Year - 2010

Here we are, it's almost the end of 2010!!! I can't believe it!! I feel like this year has gone by SO FAST! Just think (no wait, I'm thinking - YOU JUST READ!!) this year, I've:

- finished 6th grade
- started 7th grade
- turned 13
- gotten my ears pierced
- lived with braces
- gotten those braces taken off
- gotten a retainer
- had a boyfriend, who turned out to be a pretty awesome regular friend instead :)
- hung out with my BFFs!!
- gone on Bike Trip (that includes my huge accomplishment of "learning to ride a bike")
- moved up a level in swimming (JV to Varsity ((oh yeah!)))
- gone to swim camp in Indiana (not even gonna comment on that one)
- gone to Alaska
- started 8th grade Algebra and Spanish!! :D
- done a bunch more stuff that I can't remember right now but was awesome all the same!!! :)

Next year, I hope to:

- finish 7th grade with style ;)
- start 8th grade with a bang! (a good one, please!!)
- hang out with my BFFs some more!!
- do more awesome stuff that I haven't even thought of yet!!

But mostly - next year, I will carpe diem
